On the one hand you have a doctor who is an orthopedic surgeon treating the Governor of the state of Texas, both proclaiming good results after the treatment and on the other hand you have the ISSCR still lamenting that there is no evidence that a procedure like this works. I read this info on his treatment with stem cells and I couldn't believe that he and the press are treating his treatment so positively and openly. I for one think that he would make our great nation a super fine president and would be a one up for stem cell treatment and research for our people. I won't state my opinion of the current politicos in government but I think the good ol' U.S...

Great post. Adult stem cells need all the publicity they can get. Here's a little info on Governor Perry's doctor, orthopedic spine surgeon Stanley Jones, who also had stem cell treatment using adult cells. It seems to be getting more and more difficult for the ISSCR to continue to call these treatments "the placebo effect" when doctors are using them to heal themselves. Reminds me ...
